Numbers aren't final, by the way. 625/635 were "at least" figures when I was informed.

Brain fart. I was talking about higher performance engines.

Basically the LS7 is probably going to be the last of its kind. And considering how GM has to spend a crapload of money to produce them, they're probably relieved it's going out to pasture.

Remember it's replacing two engines technically. LS7 and LS9.

So, given all the rumors that the ZR-1 was rejected twice before being approved for the C6, are we looking at the final demise of that name plate???

what's disappointing for me is how GM never gave us the option of getting a 1ss or 2ss with an ls7. to hell with the z\28. $75,000? wtf????
