El ESS A, that is a very good point you made about not tipping our hand. So to you sir I say Touche.
However, if the idea of a zombie pandemic is not highly realistic, then why is there a Zombie Survival guide on the CDC's website? Seriously, this exists. (before the whole board lights up to explain this issue to me, I say to you: It's called sarcasm, look it up) Skooter: I understand what you are saying, you are describing the hydrostatic shock associated with terminal ballistics, and you are correct, however I was talking about stab/bashings etc. Consistently, any stab to the head kills (rekills?) the zombie, and a knife would not produce hydrostatic shock. A baseball bat will produce concussive force, but again very very little in the way of hydrostatic shock. I admit it, maybe I have a problem, after YEARS of tactical training, it just snaps me right out of my suspension of disbelief. I really lost it a few seasons back when Shane opened the barn and out stuble about 10-15 zombies, and Shane, who has tac training is unloading on the zombies with a shotgun, and not scoring headshots. I feel that this issue has more to do with the fact that Kirkman is a $hitty writer.

It's called "fiction". This means it was thought up at the whim of whoever wrote it. If it does or does not fall into the realm of reality, it's no big deal either way. I'm sure it was by accident.
I get that the inaccuracies can bother some folks. It doesn't get to me that much. Sometimes I'll notice a little inaccuracy of the continuity. Like perhaps this shot from last season's episode where the pre-patch but still one-eyed Gov attacked the prison...any wonder the Governor probably missed? Thing is, I love the show. I love my Camaros. Is either perfect? No. But I'll take in both, warts and all.

And who ever said Shane had tactical training? He and Rick were both Sherriff's of a small rural town. Who knows how much training they had. ![]() Quote:

OK, so I finally got around to seeing last sunday's episode. the one that heavily featured the Governor.
That kind of stuff, like how he moves as he deftly dodges the zombies, rather than a frontal assault, is what i am talking about. Even if people had zero tactical training, 18 months into the outbreak, only the fast, clever, trained, lucky would be left, everyone lese would be chompers. That was probably one of the best episodes ever. I like how it expanded on the character, rather than leaving him as a stock bad guy, it shows that he is in fact a human being with good qualities and bad.

If you follow the comics, there's a good amount of semi-spoilers as to what's coming next week. Sort of.
Here's what comicbook.com had to say about next week: Quote:
At least two more red Xs will be added to this picture after next week. Karen and Andrea obviously aren't here now, and Carol is MIA. So who's it going to be?

Who the hell would ditch the Gov. then let him into their camp to play golf? That's just asking for murder.
Surprise you're dead!

Very interesting turn of events...
The Governor doesn't want to be handed the crown, he has to take it. He told Kirk Acevedo to his face "I'm running things now." He understands the primary rule during a zombie appocalypse "Keep your Pimp Hand Strong!" He is a Master Pimp

Hell yeah! The Governor is one bad ass! Constantly in conflict as to who he WAS and who he has become.

Apparently, if you've seen the AMC teaser videos, the Governor isn't wanting to meet up with Rick to break bread, sip wine and tell jokes around the campfire.
What do you think will happen Sunday night's mid-season finale? A. Governor shoots Hershel, then moves in to fight wrecking the place with his tank, killing Glenn in the ensuing melee. Michonne cuts off the Governor's arm and then Carl pops him to stop him from killing Michonne. Carol shows up leading her new group to help Rick (mainly coming back for Lizzie and Mika) and overwhelms the Governor's forces. But then Tyreese finds out Carol killed Karen and David. Tensions build... B. Governor wrecks the place with his tank, gets in a fist-fight with Rick and stomps the hell out of Rick's ass. Michonne finally gets her chance to square off against the Gov. Walkers show up due to the noise complicating matters even worse. Everyone scatters in the aftermath since the prison is rendered useless. C. Judith and Beth get killed by Lilly (Lori and Judith die in the comix); Maggie, Sasha, and Bob get isolated and run. Governor kills Tyreese with Michonne's katana after he kicks her ass. Then Rick whoops the crap out of the Governor until the Gov cuts off part of Rick's arm. Walkers moving in start biting and distracting the battle so the Governor has to postpone killing Rick giving Rick a chance to escape. D. Daryl blows up the tank with a hand grenade, Carl gets shot in the face (non-fatal) by Bob because then it's apparent he's a Governor plant, Bob gets shot by Glenn, Maggie and Sasha are forced out the back of the prison, and Carol shows up and leads Rick, Carl, Daryl, Lizzie, Mika, Beth and Judith to safety. The Governor takes over the prison. E. Other (explain what you think will happen, please)
