I had the Smokey & Bandit 78' TA and traded it, it needed work but was 100% original and ran and drove. Worst decision I ever made.

The Hurst TA is the only one of the Firebird kits that looks good. It looks damn good, actually. If Pontiac was alive and offered this I would probably own one instead of my Mustang.

I'm a proud Smokey and the Bandit fan as well.

You are correct trans am depot is the major company that does it and that is there car (you can see their logo in the top rightish area of the picture). They are local to me so I have gone To their shop and have seen several of their cars and they do some nice work just not something I would spend my money on.

One of the guys in our club have a T/A conversion, but I don't think it has T-Tops
