Every car manufacturer has a car or two that really makes you say what were they thinking (in a bad way). The manufacturers that stick around come up with one or two amazing models that draw us to them and help us forget the mistakes lol. The Camaro and Corvette are perfect examples, the Fusion/GT/Mustang are similar.
Pontiac's Solstice and GTO couldn't make up for the rest of the crap in their last lineup: ![]() ![]() They probably should have been axed when these two came out: ![]() In general, I love all cars, but some companies just really suck at making good looking cars Nick C.

Lots of negative perception of domestic cars comes from the companies concentrating on trucks in the 90's and hardly trying with cars. That has all changed. I would put some 2004 and newer or any 2009 and newer GM car up against any Japanese import in quality and reliability.

They're also coming out with the SS soon. So there's two other high quality GM cars.

Never hated GM, even owned a few and had timing been right I may have had a ZL1 or a Z/28 on order. But the more Big Al puffs his chest out and the more he talks the more I start to feel aligned with Ford. He keeps this juvenile crap up and he might just sell me my second new Ford Mustang whereas I was thinking a true sportscar next.

It's a pretty fun car, I have to admit. And also more entertaining on a daily basis than my Boss which can't really play till it's putting my license on the line. Fact is, I have as much fun in my DD Mazda 2 as I do in the Boss during the week. But then, Wednesday nights, or weekends...
I should seriously consider it (or the new Alfa).

Good point. I guess we'll see with Ford's response in 2015. And what the hell, the egos on both sides are giving us great cars, right?

I would buy a GM performance vehicle or maybe another Escalade but that's about it.
