FYI just because you see the intro of you flying on the plane, it does not mean you're online.

I got all the way to the Car. Then I was standing in a line with about 10 other people waiting for the mission to load. After 10 minutes I just went to bed.

they might as well wait for the next gen consoles to come out, and everyone will be playing on those servers.

that'll fix the problem of too much traffic.

With $1B in revenue, you'd think they could afford some more bandwidth and server blades.

Seriously, they knew what the preorder count was. And after the first day they accumulated about 75% of their unit sales. Should have been pretty easy to determine their need for capacity.

I am either getting real lucky or they worked out some of the bugs. I have been on and off today and connected every time. Even got my deleted character back!

I played some this morning, even got into a game with 4 other people and ran a mission. Fun as hell!

I haven't been able to get in for the past 3 hours though, and just linked this which was updated at 5:30 ET
