Maybe the guy just likes your car compared to others he's seen its worth a look.
You get cash back when trading to a dealer and avoid paying taxes on the new car. I doubt they were even trades and he lost to much money on and they could have been done as a business expense etc. nobody would trade a 150k car even up for a 30k car even if the lamborghini needed a 15k service.

I guess you obviously have never seen how to reverse a Lamborghini. Almost everyone that I have seen wether it be in person or on TV opens the door and looks out to back up a Lamborghini. I guess all those people have no idea how to drive either.

This is 100% true. That's how you back up a Lamborghini, plain and simple. You can watch countless Lamborghini owners on YouTube doing it this way.

To the OP, I'm pretty sure Jay Leno said the fate of every Countach is known and accounted for by the Lambirghini Club. Get the vin number, or something concrete, and contact them for more details. Jay's is a daily driver with over 70,000 miles. If this is a legit offer, do it! Maintenance will be expensive, but if I remember right there are only 2000 Countach's ever made.

There's no harm in finding our more facts about the car. At least then in the future, it will not be something you wondered about.

Even if it wasn't a scam, you'd be surprised at how poorly a 30+ year old "supercar" would compare to a modern one in terms of performance. Most old cars, except for maybe old muscle cars, aren't much fun to drive. But if you want to just drive a circus attraction, then go ahead.

It could be a kit car replica. Insurance would be through the roof. Probably get keyed or stolen from you. Can't even put regular unleaded in it. You would be in the eyes of every LEO on the street. Everyone would want to race you. You would get tons of people always watching you when drive and parked it. You would be so paranoid something would happen to it you would never drive it. And if there was any maintenance to it, where would you take it? Just my .02

Try changing lanes in a Countach lol - you move over easily the mirrors are useless. One thing to remember this line of cars from Lambo are known for their electrical and expensive electrical failures. PS I knew of several and none could be used as a reference to find or rewire a component on another.

Been around Lambos. To run a Countach in the city at low speeds. The ones I knew packed their electronics in dry ice. Hummm.
