What style elements should make a comeback?

As I was driving down the highway today I started thinking about how there are certain design elements on cars that typify a particular era. Some of it is really cool, others . . .

*Edit* it is now multiple choice, and wagons have been replaced with vinyl roofs.

I think most of those things aren't in cars now for a reason. Most of them you look at and you're reminded of a time period. This could be good or bad. I think car makers want to make cars without that. They want a look that when you look at it 20 years from now, it still looks good and you're not reminded of when it was made.

Thats why i voted for T-tops. They to me arent really a styling element but they're more like having a convertible thats more practicle for colder places.

I've noticed that there was a pre-squared off era to vehicles that gave way to a neo-curvy era...which cycled right back into boxy...and now - we've managed to adapt the two and squsih them together. (see: Camaro)

I've always liked the squared-off look. Then you've got squared off headlamps, or rounded - I like the rounded... Interesting thread.

This thread needs to be multiple choice, I think that Fastbacks and T Tops are the main things I like, I voted T Tops

Narrow nose/fenders ....... hmmmmmm that'd be a sight on new cars

2 tones are making a come back around here, I see a lot of pick ups and cars (Monte carlo's) with the two tone

Chrome bumpers are still around on trucks

Not too sure on fins

I've read somewhere that Volvo has a station wagon coming out, dont know how well it will do, IMO I think the dodge magnum is a Modern station wagon

Fastbacks ..... YES

T-tops ....... YES

Mesh/spoke wheels im going to assume are the 100 spoke rims with the curb alert things ....... sure caddy's go with those well

WOW!!! Seriously, this DOES need to be multiple choice!

I went for the t-tops, but had a few others in mind.

I want to bring back the 2-tone paint job. Someone on CSS.net got their Cobalt painted black on top and it was sweet. I was playing with one of my Camaros on NFS Pro Street and made one of mine a green Camaro with a black top. The fifth generation Camaro would look hot in 2-tone.

Totally needs to be multiple choice.

2 tone paint jobs - never left, my 2002 GMC has it
Chrome (particularly bumpers) - MORE CHROME!!!
Station Wagons - Not as a styling element, but so people don't have to buy SUVs when they need a station wagon
T-tops - WANT!!!

Hmm tough one between fins and fastbacks but..im more inline with the fastbacks of the 60's...than the fins of the 50's.

EDIT: Another thing i was thinking about and think they should bring back is vynal tops...man this should be multiple choice

Lets try this again. I got rid of the old poll and created this new one. I swaped wagons for vinyl roofs. And the poll has multiple options
