Microsoft never should have changed it in the first place. Let the basement dwellers whine.

perhaps they can sell 2 different types? the new drm original idea for 399, and the unoriginal idea (aka same boring system as the previous gen), for 499.

So after reading specs and watching videos of both xb1 and ps4 i am leaning more towards ps4. I like how u can chat n play, share ur game experiance. Dont get me wrong i do like the xb! Tv capabilities too but for me i dont think i would use it.

unfortunately they are the same, the cloud and use of ESRAM help even the odds since ps4 is using ddr5 ram. What is nice is Ps4 will have genkai later on which is a type of streaming service that they said will be used to play older ps3 and ps2 legacy games as they put it

The XBone, to my knowledge, doesn't have share capabilities, nor does it have the capabilities to allow someone on your friend list to literally take over a game and get you through a spot that you are stuck on through the internet when you are in "share" mode.

what exactly do you mean by share capabilities? I know you can record your gameplay and share them. Like if something badass happens, and you are the only one there, but want to share that experience with other people, you can.

as for allowing a friend to take over my game...no thanks. lol I'll figure it out myself. that's the fun part.

On the PS4, the controller has a Share button. Push that and the Share UI comes up which allows you to record game play and post it on your friends list for them to see. If you have a browser installed and have an account on some video sharing website (like Youtube) it can also post it on there too with no effort on your part.

I've not seen anything so far of the XBone having this support directly from Microsoft, you have to download a 3rd party program to do this like you currently have to do with the PS3 and 360.

Not that it matters to me because I will never use these features.....

"The Xbox One will have two new ways to share your gameplay videos. Your gameplay will be automatically recorded via the device's DVR, so after you finish a match or a scene, you can instantly upload the video to an editing studio for editing and sharing with your friends.

Or if you want to show how awesome you are now, you can also instantly broadcast your gameplay to all of your friends via Twitch.TV.

In addition, Microsoft announced that they are freeing your Friends' list, so you will no longer be limited to only 100 friends. Now the whole world can be your friend, if you consider that a good thing"
