Dude, I'm seriously interested too. I was about to pull the trigger on the OEM one and that thing shows up. It looks real good quality and the fact that everyone says the VIS goods are top notch helps A LOT! But I want to see someone step up and see just how good the quality is. I also don't know if it's the picture angle or something but it looks to be a little "shorter" or "smaller" than the OEM one. I like that the OEM one is longer than a regular bumper because it gives the car a slightly "lower" look. But all in all, I'm completely interested.

How about you, what do you think? I know you've been dying to get a hold of a ZL1 bumper as well

Haha yes I've been wanting one for awhile now...I agree completely though...I would like someone to buy it and see how it is before it's painted. Main reason why I didn't get the rideskinz bumper...thing would cost more than the zl1 bumper! I'm glad you pointed out that it might look shorter definitely didn't notice that. But what I did notice that in a couple of the pics it has something (maybe the skid pad?) duck taped to the bottom of the splitter. Really diggin the price and like you said the rep of VIS

Just sucks I would have to find a place here to paint it :|

Edit: just looked and it does look a little weird...makes me want to ask for the height with it on the car vs the oem zl1 bumper

Me too, I've been wanting one bad. I honestly don't really like the rideskinz bumper the ports look like whiskers to me...
But I did pm and talked to a lot of members that had it and they said the initial quality was terrible. That a lot of shops were quoting either 2000 in paint and prep or just refusing to work with it at all. I hope the new poly version is a lot better. Still don't like the look but hope its better for the people that have it.

I also saw that thing under it. I don't like it if that's the way it's supposed to be. I guess we will see as soon as someone gets it and paints it.

Lol yepp as soon as a couple or maybe a few get it installed ill jump. I hate being a skeptical person but when it's almost half the price and it's not oem....well a flag goes up for me haha

Suppose to get a quote from Maureen and see what kind of deal she can do...get it painted with her (and know its going to be good quality) plus free shipping which is awesome lol

Completely understand where you're coming from. I'm extremely skeptical as well. But the fact that VIS seems to have a good reputation helps a bit. I didn't like how he initially said the grille wasn't detachable but he later pmd me saying he ran out of his bumps for the day and that the grille was indeed removable.

Let me know what Maureen tells me if you don't mind! I'm sending a pm your way btw!
