Thank to heRS for starting the "If Someone Was Stealing Your..." Thread

It helped me to stay out of the Z/28 threads for awhile and stop being depressed about the fact that if you're not Rick Hendrick or Jay Leno or own a hot rod shop that you are probably SOL in getting one even if you have the coin to do so.

I guess we'll see. I had to jump through hoops for over a year to give GM over 60grand for my ZL1. Why should this be any different.

The difference is your not Justin Bieber man. Celebrities always get first option. It's like free promotion for GM. When a paparazzi snaps a photo of them riding in one and it ends up everywhere.

Dude recently held a pot party at his house. Talk about trying to fit in with rappers. Sometimes it helps to know the right person..it can go a long way. Just like you got your ZL1 just never give up and keep your head up bud!

That's true. My problem is that i try to stay loyal to my dealer because he's a friend. The other problem is that they are not that big of a dealership and they're in the sticks.

I could have bought a ZL1 easier if I wanted to put up with one of the scumbag dealers in the city.

Never mix buisness with friendship. He'll still (remain) your friend wether you stick with them or not. Just give him the heads up and do was best for you not him. If he's a ''true'' friend he'll understand.

It's very tuff. I've been doing business with him for over 25 years and he was a friend before that. He even told me to get it somewhere else but this is a small town and we do business the old fashion way. My thinking is that if he shows GM that can sell these types of cars that they'll give him a better shot at doing so.

If you can compromise hand in hand it can be less conflict and guilt..on your side. I admire your loyalty to him. And i'm sure he respects yours.
