I bolded what I believe is the cause of why you felt no gains and heres why:

The vararam air horn does not slide over the throttle body like other intakes do. Instead it butts up perfectly against it, creating an already smooth surface for the air to travel over, while with the stock, and other intakes, there would be a slight bump for the air to travel over.

If its in the mail, that means you should get it in 3 - 5 days tops, but I'd give it more time.

If you still don't get it, call them up. Tell them you never received the check. There are options...have them cancel the check (as they should be able to tell from bank records or something that their check to you was never cashed....unless its a money order or something like that??)

From there, have them re-issue you a new check. If you get the original one, it will be useless if they cancel it.

Check was in the mail back in December, haven't been able to get a hold of anyone ever since. I do not have the number to actually call them either.

The check is probably expired by now. Call and (politely) demand for a wire transfer.

Depends on if his ingestion issue was as bad....we tear these motors down every week here doing builds and some have horrible coking at 10k miles, and others at 30k have moderate. All in the amount of ingestion causing the coking. Also, most dealers reccomend an upper indicton cleaning every 12-15k miles and do one and come back and report the feel.....(just dont do it very often as the deposits it breaks loose cause scouring and thats another issue).

Tracy what is your recommendation for an upper induction cleaning interval? I was still going to do it every 15k or so even with the catch can installed . . .

You shouldn't need to do an upper induction cleaning if you've had a catch can from early on

What's a reasonable price for resonator delete? I got quoted like $150 today, and walked out the door. Didn't bother going elsewhere cause I was tired.

A local shop. They backed it up with lifetime warranty, too. Just in case.

Very jealous haha. I can't seem to find a local shop that doesn't try to pull tricks
