'72 Corvette tranny kit (TH400)
Well, I don't pal around with my Corvette friends any more (that was many, many years ago), so I thought I'd ask on here;
I got a buddy who is rebuilding a 72 Convertible Corvette. he's pretty much done but wants to know what tranny kit to get for the TH400. He's a race buddy so I thought I might use the amazing brains on this site to help him out. He's using it as most here use their Convertible Camaros; he has two dailies already (one for him and one for the wife) and he wants to be able to take it out when its nice or they are going on cruises. he is looking at B&M, Trans go, TCI and Superior. Appreciate any help |

I had good luck with a B&M kit I installed on a TH350 years ago.
Nice quick shifts but not harsh at all.

Yeah, B&M used to be the kit of choice. But I don't know if buyouts/quality control has changed that over the years.
