OP- congrats on the new ride!!! I personally haven't driven one, but it looks like it would be fun!!!

Obviously we are all a bit bias to the camaro but as long as you're happy and it's not a mustang then that's all that matters!

Congrats on the new ride!

I understand needing a family, all year long car but why not American?!?!? You could have gotten a Cadilac, 4 door, supercharged, very fast and still a family car and would have been American built. Nice car though, hope you enjoy it.

Speaking of American - I was drooling over the AWD Charger RT. Same price range as the OP's new ride.

no AWD CTS? EVO's are sick cars though I'll give you that, now go find some gravel back roads. I give it 2 years before he is back in a Camaro.

No reason to flame you. Logical choice. I get annoyed at looking at my car in the garage too.

No my kind of car at all....but hey, if your happy more power to ya.

Sure seems like a ton of money for that car IMO and although prices of Camaros are dropping but I bet your gong to take a bath on this one.

Like someone else mentioned....money says you end up with another Camaro some day.

You should have moved to Florida instead of selling the Camaro

Not a fan of EVOs but can definitely understand the decision so glad I live in Florida and drive my Camaro year-round.

EVO is a nice ride, I just wish it had a better interior. If the Camaro was panned for too much hard plastic you should see the EVO's interior.... for 40K they should give you more than the same generic bland interior that's on the 20K lancers.

I need something I can drive all year round. Looking at my camaro in the garage all winter was getting old. I do not want to do that next year. I traded in my camaro and I am selling my beater truck to make room in my garage for just the one vehicle. My family can actually use the back seats which is a big plus. The Evo does not look as good as the camaro but the camaro looks almost too good. I feel like I am driving a normal car now if that makes any sense. The brembo brakes and the recaro seats are sweet! Snow mode! It is surprisingly fast and feels like it pulls harder of the line. I bought it yesterday and drove it off of the showroom floor! My first new vehicle!

Let the flaming begin!
You paid $40k for it? It sounds like you got bent over (???). There are several in Central PA for low $30's. I also see that's not even the MR Edition. Hey, it's nice though. I had an '03 when they first got imported and it was a fun car. Turbo charged 4, lightweight and AWD. I'd take one as a DD. The EVO and the STI are both fun cars. Congrats! P.S. Please ditch the license plate border from the dealer.
