She won't even be close to the front at the end if she finishes at all. I wouldn't mind if she won though. It would be better than seeing Gordon or Johnson in victory lane.

Austin Dillon is doing pretty good at driving. Seeing him win would be like Trevor Bayne all over again.

As long as Chevy wins first and Toyota(should not be there) finishes last I will be good...

Ok help me on this one fellas, why exactly is this woman getting so much attention? I get the whole "a woman is competing in NASCAR!" thing and that's fine, good for her, but there are other drivers in the 500 but you hardly hear anything about them from the media.

The only time I hear Tony Stewart being mentioned on TV is when Danica is the subject and Tony is brought up as her car's owner.

They did say something about Gordon but only because he is outside of Danica and again Danica was the topic.

During the duel and throughout practice sessions most of the inside the car camera shots were from Danica's race car.

When was the last time this woman won a race?

Money....publicity....
She did win one race in Indy cars in 2008..
Do you realize the majority of drivers never win a pole much less a race. Many never even get a top 10. She is a good driver, not a great driver, but given time she may even win a race or two.
Basically She is a world wide personality and NASCAR is going to use that to their advantage any way they can and so will the TV networks.

Bird did I ever tell you about the 2SS they had at Castle Chevrolet that was autographed by Danica? The salesman told me they caught one customer trying to sniff the seat and they had to kick him out of the dealership.

I could never tell if he was pulling my leg or not.

Chances are I won't watch the 500 this year because it has become the Danica show. If all it takes is a pretty face and a marketing manager to dominate NASCAR then racing has become rather cheap. I don't think she won the pole on skill, she won it because everyone has new cars and they are dealing with a bunch of unknowns.

Here's the funny part...I'd like to cheer for her since she is from my state but I just can't find a reason to do it but she does have a golden opportunity so maybe she will finally earn a paycheck.

I'm sounding kinda harsh! Yuck!
Would you kindly stop holding back and tell us all how you REALLY feel? LOL
