Now, when the kids get old enough for my Wife to start working again, there may be room in the toy budget for my garage to look like Number 3's.

Part time X-ray tech/ full time student....GI Bill paying for my camaro. Plus I still have money saved from a deployment a few years back.

Yes, looking good ON PAPER is a must to get your foot in the door for the higher pay brackets these days.... BUT, it is the hard work and quality work that will get you promoted to where you really want to be.

So, YES leviticus88, keep your work ethic and supplement it with a degree (GPA >= 3.0). Sky is the limit.

BTW, college students on this board -- yes, your GPA does matter. That number equates to $$$$$$$$ after college. My company won't even hire anyone with less than a 3.0. Why? They did average work, or less, in college so that's probably the same level of effort they would give the company. We want over-achievers, not the average Joe who did just enough to pass. There are MANY companies that will view your GPA the same way. SO, while in college, keep your nose in the books.

I am a Senior Chemical Operator been working for this company for almost 10 years, I actually get to make drugs. If you know someone who has had an organ transplant or had laser vision correction, or even just eaten an apple then I have touched your lives.

I am the President of a credit union (non profit) so respectable salary. However, my wife is the HR Director of a trading firm and does quite well. Thank God she's a car lover.
