Cars are deadly.

Cars should be banned, despite the fact that most people use them safely and lawfully. Cars are deadly weapons and if we can save just one more life we should do it.

Oh and buses should be limited to a capacity of no more than 10 people.

Change I can believe in!

Limit bus capacity to 10 passengers?

I'm all for it.

I support your position. However, this is clearly a straw man and a political thread.

I agree.

They're all paper weights, until a warm body gets involved.

Common denominaters. Who needs logic, when purpose built is easier to blame for societal deficiencies.

By political do you mean relevant?

This is nothing to do with bipartisanship only policy.

Was there a recent auto crash in Connecticut too? Everybody knows what's going on here.

One of my posts was deleted yesterday for comparing subsidies of different types of fuels that go into cars. That was an actual automotive related discussion.

This is just a thinly veiled attempt to express distaste over new gun regulations.

Just ban roads or a toll of $10k a mile. That will solve the problem.

Don't ban cars. But they are only allowed 7 gallons. Better not load any extra in there!!

The question is: are you mocking something I would say, or are you actually making a sarcastic comment in a context that you find humor in the irony of?

I have been seeing this topic playing out in the media. So why don't we all just agree that this is a thread making a mockery of the national media? ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, NYT, etc. Since they insist they have no political bias whatsoever (to the extent of calling people who suggest otherwise "crazy" and "radicals").

We therefore know that mocking the media cannot be construed in any way as a political discussion. They are totally apolitical by their own admission.

I think we should also ban automatic transmissions... nobody needs to be able to shift that fast!
