What some don't realize the Camaro almost went the same route the Mustang did in the mid 70's. the Pinto was the basis for the Mustang 2, it was rumored the Vega was going to be the basis for the Camaro, but cooler heads prevailed and that car luckily became the Monza and the Camaro carried on in the same F-Body it was before.
If the Code 130R becomes reality I bet it will not be as the Camaro.

only if it bigger then the spark, (which i told the dealership it needs to be renamed to a fart) and bigger then a sonic. but less then a cruz. maybe as a daily driver.

Absolutely not! I personally asked both the Code 130R's designer and Clay Dean if this was a 6th gen Camaro in disguise. They both vehemently denied it.

With that said, I think the Code is a pretty neat piece. I told Clay that if they do the 6th gen Camaro justice and built the Code, I'd buy BOTH a Code as a daily beater and a 6th gen Z/28 as a weekend/track toy.

Personally I think some of the styling cues are obviously camaro meets malibu and hope this is the future of the malibu. The malibu this year took more camaro styling cues if you recall. I think of all the different graphics out there from speculators I have not really seen one that catches my imagination.

I think they need to do a blend of the second and first gen camaros, maybe a split bumper accenting the front look somehow, and a more sleeker front and rear profile for encreased aerodynamics.

I really like that crossed flag side marker light. It is such a cool little detail. I'm hoping that little element shows up on the 6th gen.
