You know they have always have had a Reg cab short bed with a V8 right? I almost bought one instead of my ram but since it was the 6.2 and only the 5.3 i went Hemi this time.

Yes, but the rumor is that it is some sort of "sport" model. I am a bit of a sport truck nut and wouldn't mind doing a "shop truck" build.

Actually, I think that is one of the better looking shots of that truck lol.

But I agree completely. The don't need to design a whole new colorado from the frame up, but they are going to have to change the design. If you look at the regular shots of the foreign colorado without the big tires and extras it is just plain ugly. Sorry, but I don't want my truck looking like a family sedan (aka..Malibu).

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Chevy knows a style change would be in order to bring this here. Otherwise...it won't be good. Not to mention we've seen this truck for a couple years now. If they didn't change anything, it would already look old by the time it got here.

Anyways, sorry to get off track...this is the new Silverado thread afterall...

Really looking forward to seeing what we get with the new Silverado. It doesn't look so far like there is going to be any kind of leap in styling, but hopefully the rest is all good stuff.

Most of Colorado's changes for the US market will probably be interior and powertrains. Might be some exterior tweaks but I wouldn't expect a huge overhaul.

Keep in mind that GMC will spawn another Canyon as well.
