I get exactly what I'd expect in my 2010 V6. I average just a hair under 23MPG at the moment and that is with getting on it once or twice on most drives. No doubt in my mind I could do better than that, and my drive to work is pretty mixed driving. So if you add up the 29 + 18 and / 2 I get right what GM says I should expect.
If you are driving 75 on the highway you are not going to get the advertised 29MPG most likely, but slow her down to around 65 - 70 on a flat highway and then tell me what kind of instant mileage you get.
