So I supercharged my 2SS instead.

I kind of regret it.
My wife kinda hinted at the same thing, I said..just wait until I get home and take you for a ride, then you will understand. She hasn't been in it since.

The driving experiences are completely different. Two great cars though!! Keep looking. A lot of people are unloading Vettes right now due to valve drop issues etc..so they are ripe for the taking!! With the new C7 coming out, it will only get better.

I have never driven a corvette but it always defined american sports car to me. Thinking of upgrading to a vette or a zl1 after this. Sure i'll test drive but in the mean time can someone please compare it to a camaro SS so I can know what Im missing?

Keep in mind I went from a 2010 SS (no performance mods) to this Z06. The Z06 is a bit of a brute. It's not the smoothest ride, or the quietest, but anyone who pursues this kind of power usually isn't concerned with that. If you want refinement, with fun power then a base Vette is probably a better comparison. Everything from ride height, road feel, power to weight feel, it's all different.

The ZL1 is a hell of a machine and I drove one just to make sure I wasn't making a mistake because I really liked both cars. What did it for me was the dream of owning a Z06 ever since I did the special build experience, and walked one down the line at the factory in Bowling Green before picking one up at the musem with my step dad. I've been smitten ever since.

Was planning to o to a Vette

Have always wanted one. But I'm a retired guy living on my investments and the recent elections makes things look pretty bleak. Just glad I got my Camaro bought and paid for before the collapse

I have had some ZO6 Vettes. Right now my wife and I have 2013 Camaros for a change until I see the new C7 Vette. The Camaro is like some of my old muscle cars and both the auto and stick V8 cars are great fun.
I really miss the raw Z power though, so I am waiting to see the new C7. I may have to grab another ZO6 before the 427 is gone. Love our Camaros a lot for now though.

I sold my 2010 RJT 2SS/RS to get her.

Now that is a beautiful car. By far my favorite color for the Corvette, congratulations!

Wow, gorgeous! Part of me misses the flip up headlights, but the rest of me loves the redesign and that color!
