Air Force 28 Univ of New Mexico (my Alma mater) 23. I played D line for the Lobos back in the early 80s.
It was an ugly win vs a vastly improved NM team with ex Notre Dame head coach now in charge. AF was without the nations 2nd leading rusher Cody Getz but managed to get the "W" We are now 4-3 and 2nd in the MWC. My son had 8 tackles....if you counted his 6 arm tackles  he would have more but arm tackles dont do crap to stop a big D1 back. NM ran a pretty confusing offense with multiple fakes. I found myself following a ghost RB many times when the real ball carrier was taking off away from the real play. Unfortunately the AF defense felt the same way:( The stopped them when it counted. 14 of NM points came off our offensive turnovers. Here is a pic of my boy after the game. He starts at inside LB for the Falcons. Sure its not SC v Florida, or Michigan v Michigan State (we played Michigan pretty damn well BTW) but its still D1 football!!!!! His mom and I are damn proud!

Wow, hell of a game. AF vs Nevada. Game means quite a bit for both teams.
31 points for Af at half time 21 for Nevada. Boise State is at the top in the MWC but a 3 way tie for 2nd. AF, Fresno state, and nevada. AF offense is dominating but sadly our defense is lacking as usual:(:(:(:( I have only heard my sons name 4 times. He is #45 and starts at ILB////James Chambers/ Game is on CBSsports.com but i dont have dish but have time warner cable so i have to listen to it.......Probably better i guess since its stimulates the imagination. We usually drive up for the home games but his girlfriend took priority over his parents.....can you blame him. They have a big Halloween party tomorrow and dont want us old geezers ruining their fun Nothing else going on tonight except Louisville and Cincinnati. If you have CBS sports give it a watch....support #45 James Chambers in th e 2nd half. Or listen on KVOR.com or google AF football. they have internet radio on the AF website for the game. Go AIRFORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These kids work their asses off!!!!!!!!!!!

My boy just made a tackle 3 yards behind the line. Nevada went for it on 4th down with 2 to go.....they did not make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
