Don't put off timing belt service! If it breaks, you are toast.

Good decision! I have over an hour communite to work and bought an older vehicle to spare my Camaro of excess miles. It'll def pay off.

By suggestions indicating that OP's LS isn't worthy of being a garage queen, those posters are insinuating that other versions are superior. Stop being pretentious assholes!

Good for you, OP. Ignore the douchebag comments.

No one said that, but thanks for stirring the pot.

why not just sell the Camaro now? You'll get more money for it now.

I don't DD my V6. It gets about 22 mpg combined (I'm not driving a performance car like grandma to squeeze every MPG out of it) and it's very impractical as a DD. I also have no desire to leave it for 12 hours in the company parking lot to either be dinged repeatedly by idiots opening their doors, or vandalized by jealous co workers.

Evidently you lack the ability to read between the lines. The OP was clearly offended given his "WOW" comment.

And, you're welcome.

Thanks smarty pants, but I fully understand what people are saying. You calling people out as "pretentious assholes" isn't going to do anything but fuel the fire and turn this thread into a V6 vs. V8 nightmare.

Wow that was pretty uncalled for, way to be a jerk.

I don't care what kind of car he has, it could be a 1988 Tercel, and if he wants to baby it more power to him.

I never mentioned that in my post...but you just did.

All I was saying is that people are insinuating that OP's car is not worthy of "weekend-only" status, and IMO those are pretentious comments.

I've made my point...moving on.
