I am a college student that lives at home....how am I not poor?

Also, I grew up poor and didn't become financially "stable" until recently as in I can pay bills on time. While growing up, I had standards and so did my parents.

No matter how poor I get or how much I lose I still have my dignity. Money may make things go round, but doesn't mean I'll risk my health for money.

not sure how dignity has anything to do with it. you'd do anything to support your family, if you have one.

Because licking that is nasty, covered in who knows what, and really for money? Have some dignity and respect for yourself. At that point you're someone's monkey or entertainment. I'd do anything except lose my dignity over it. There is a line and sometimes life has changes we don't like.

and that's your opinion. I wouldn't lose any of my dignity. sure, i'll get the 15 mintues of fame, or shame, however you want to look at it, but after a year, no one will remember, and life will go on. people have done FAR worse. it's really not that big a deal...unless you make it.

I'm not worried about what other people think of me or how they view me. It will be a thought that is always in my mind and bothering me. It's something I will have to deal with mentally. I have standards and dignity. I've been at the bottom and know what it is like so don't even try to say I don't know what it is like.
