Caprice-Commodore-G8 Parts Compatibility
I was looking at the new police Caprice and wondering if anyone had any insight into the aftermarket parts compatibility it might share with the Holden Commodore and Pontiac G8. The appearance comparisons are obvious, but I wonder how different any of the dimensions are and whether anything can be done to a retired or salvaged unit that an enthusiast might acquire.

Depends on the part. The Caprice is on a LWB version of ZETA so it will have some things in common with the G8 and Camaro.

It looks like the current model is powered by a modified LS2. Otherwise, I'm wondering if anything aftermarket, like hoods, exhausts, and suspension components, share mounting points. With how similar the cars are, there could be a market for these products in the States.
Alternatively, would any of the heavy-duty Caprice PPV cooling or other components fit a G8 or Commodore?
