Today the Space Shuttle Endeavour Ferry Flight team was completed when the Pathfinder aircraft and the T-38 escort plane arrived at Kennedy Space Center.

A NASA aircraft arrives at the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It will serve as a weather pathfinder, flying ahead of the space shuttle Endeavour, mounted atop NASA's Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, or SCA, during its ferry flight to California.

This next aircraft is a T-38. It will fly next to Endeavour and the SCA the entire ferry flight, as an escort, just like it did with Space Shuttle Discovery's final flight.

SCA 911 and Endeavour have been pushed back into the Mate-Demate Device to protect it from incoming severe thunderstorms.

Today's weather briefing concluded about an hour ago. The team decided to push ahead for a 7:15 AM take-off tomorrow. At 5 AM tomorrow they will make a final decision about if they'll allow the take-off.

The front that delayed the flight earlier this week is now cutting across Florida and heading straight for KSC. The goal is to get Endeavour out of there before the front hits them.

Two things..

Today I realized that I've been using the wrong SCA.

It's actually SCA 905 that is ferrying Endeavour.

Second, here is flight tracking and flight path of Endeavour when she leaves tomorrow. NOTE: This has a 10 minute delay.

The KSC team has given Endeavour and SCA 905 a tentative "Go" for take-off. We're shooting for a 7:15 AM EDT departure.
