Parents and kids are too soft nowadays.

I got whooped too, and deserved it. I'm a semi-normal person still.

Flip side: parents are a little more aware these days about that affects the long term growth of a child's brain. It can really screw up a child. Plus, now that I have a daughter, I couldn't imagine hitting her. It just feels a million percent wrong, to my core and in my heart.

haha, I rarely got spankings, but I turned out okay.

I don't mean beat them in the head, lol. I don't believe in that, but to each their own. I mean you don't have to spank them for everything, but sometimes it is needed. I understand.
