Ok saw a weird lil truck thing.

I was driving to work this morning when i see this chevy emblem with a front end almost similar to the new colorado/trailblazer they sell elsewhere It passed me and i noticed a couple things the name was Tornado and it was Fwd cause it had no rear pumpkin. The tags were not american i dont think. Fwd truck really chevy.

interesting;

Auto manufacturers are all trying to cut costs. One of the ways they can do that is by combining their operations throughout the world in order to design and build vehicles that can be sold in multiple markets. Some of the smaller trucks sold around the world might make it to the U.S. if automakers feel there's a market for them.
The Tornado truck is part of Chevy's lineup in Mexico, and it's the same truck known as the Montana in Brazil. The Tornado is offered with a 1.8L, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 107 hp. A 5-speed manual is the only transmission choice.

The Tornado reportedly gets about 30 mpg on the highway and in the low-to-mid 20's in city driving. I wonder how much those figures would change after tacking on any equipment necessary for U.S. emissions standards? The dip probably wouldn't be too steep.

The truck is compact -- about 57" tall. Fourteen-inch wheels are standard, with 15" versions available on the Sport model.

Cargo Capacity: about 1615 pounds

Montana

Tornado

Yes...it's a light duty hauler based on the Opel Corsa subcompact. Not every market needs a BOF RWD-based truck.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

What kind of payload and towing capacity does that have?

I've seen a few around here, all with plates from Mexico.
First sighting really piqued my curiosity, but that's about all... did not spark desire or lust!
