Yeah, he doesn't have the time off. But more than that-- I really can't afford Fest. I honestly don't have the money right now after some big car mods. And I'd love to go on a road trip with him to see his brother, and if I went to Fest I couldn't do that.

So it's just bad timing all around. But I think next year will be better!

well, that's how you start relationships, start trusting people. of course it hurts when it doesn't work out, but it's like riding a bike. You have to keep getting back up!

I'm onyl scared I won't get the job b/c as soon as I got the email about it and read the details, I was in with it. And when I saw it was NC I was nervous at first, but then I knew that my thoughts about widening my search there was the right thing to do. This was the push I needed. And I am holding my breath hoping I get through the pre-screen questions round.

I don't mod my car so it's all good for me

Well, all you can do is try, but sometimes it's just not there. You have to love your job and what you are doing cuz if not life is miserable. I know how you feel cuz I'm in the same boat here. Too much favoritism here and I HATE it!! I'm not gonna kiss anyone's butt. I am who I am and I bust my a$$ when I'm given work, but what can I do when I don't?!?! That's my biggest peeve around here!!

Well, I hope this one you applied for works out perfectly for you! All you can do is try and the worse they can say is "no" and even then there are plenty more jobs out there. Just make sure you do the research on the company and know what they are about beforehand so you don't have ppl like Nicole did that hadn't the slightest clue. YOU CAN DO IT HUN!!! I haz faith!!

I try very hard not to trust people in that way. I've learned too much how badly people abuse that trust. But stupidly I end up doing it all over again so.

One day maybe it'll pay off - right now - I'm just not going to waste time looking. If it happens, fine. Otherwise, I'll have learned to be happy by myself.

Right now - I want that job in NC & I want a house. I want my own space, with my own rules and no one else to mess that up. So...that's what I'm focused on.
When I think of those things - I don't care if I'm doing it alone - at least it will be MY success, MY house, MY life - and not someone else's.

Okay, to clear this up. Two months ago I was fine going to Fest without having a BF. If I had to make the decision today I would not go without Jason.
