Question way off topic engine question.

Ok so this has nothing to do with my camaro, but with my motorcycle. I've bumped my compression up a bit from 12.5:1 up to 13.8:1. Should I be running a hotter or cooler plugs from stock. Right now my AFR is around 13.

Will I notice a difference? Right now I'm hotter than stock.

Generally one heat range cooler if it's a big CC 'meltdown motor' bike but you aren't very specific.

In most cases stock plugs work just fine in N/A motorcycles.

Do you hear pinging? That's the only difference you will notice. Spark plugs don't make your bike faster dude.

It's so loud I can't tell if its pinging. My rev limiter is at 17,200. I run 93 Oct and I feels smother if I run octane boost in it.

Put stock plugs back in it. Sounds like its a 600 , 13.8:1 compression is nothing for an engine with such a small bore. If it's been dyno tuned it will be fine.

For instance, my 1287 has 13.2:1 and I run 93 octane fuel safely with it.

It's a 750 but almost identical to the 600. Right now the plugs I have in the bike are NGK Iridium CE9E I'm going to step down to a NGK standard plug CR10E.

NGK says the higher the number the colder the plug.

Both my bikes call for the CR9E

13:8:1 is C12 territory not pump gas. Good luck on the motor but I don't see it lasting to long. I'v been building motorcycle motors and atv motors for years now and I would never recommend using pump gas on that kind of compression

Octane boost as in like the 104+ booster they sell in the auto parts store? Or race fuel concentrate? My understanding is the simply octane booster stuff really doesn't do much at all...
