Plus now having a level 50, I can take my time with the classes I am leveling and enjoy the class stories. After I take this next character to 50 I might start working on leveling a character on the opposing faction.

Nice, I have 2 Imp's and 4 Republics. 3 on each server. 1 server is PVP the other is PVE I look forward to character transfers.

3 dark and 3 light. 1 dark is on the Republic the other 2 dark side are Imp's.
The other 3 Republic are all light side.

Late joining this thread. O.o' My husband and I both play. We're on Krayt Dragon and wouldnt mind playing with any of you. I currently have a lvl 50 Jedi Sentinel named Karen (it was suppose to be Ka'Ren but my router took a crap at the worst time), lvl 44 Sith Marauder named Anaharath, lvl 13 Jedi shadow Akarri, lvl 10 Sith Assassin Settsuna, and two lvl 5's I havent done much with yet. No guild yet and doing heroics with just the two of us usually means I get to do lots of dieing tanking for my husbands Inquisitor lol.

I'm running a guild on Helm of Graush on the Sith side if you ever decide to reroll another character. We've been running all of the end game content for 8man's. Cant seem to get enough people to sign up for 16man runs, usually 3-4 short. Our site is in my signature if you wanted to check it out.

Typically about 20 people on at night to run any FP's or PVP.

I've been meaning to look this up in our conversations about you getting your laptop.

I bought mine 6 months ago tomorrow, it cost just a little bit more than what you paid, I can't complain too much.

That's a pretty nice setup. Unfortunately I had to forgo an optical drive to have the second hdd in mine. I'll find some USB dvd player at some point.

Thanks Jay it was good for the time. But it's only 6 months old and already has a previous gen CPU and GPU

yeah you may need on for software installation weird it did not come with one, they are super cheap.

I stayed within budget. Operating system or optical would have put me over. I have win 7 on my desktop so i just ned a usb optical drive or an 8gb flash drive.

Sounds good. I wanna finish my Sith up on krayt dragon first. I love playing a Marauder and wouldnt mine making another for that server.

Anyone else playing on big PvP servers? At launch Naddist Rebels was one of the largest servers... sadly we've fallen to one of the smallest and it sucks. When server transfers come up I'm probably going to go to a more populated PvP server.

As far as population, I am on the second largest PvP server "Helm of Graush." But its far from the most populated PvP server "The Fatman". Huge gap in population between the number one and number two PvP servers. Everything inbetween are PvE servers.

I cannot wait until server transfers are available. The 2 PVE servers that I'm on hardly have anyone on them.

So dumb noob question, what is the difference between playing on a PVE server vs. a PVP server? I guess you can attack others on PVP? What is the real benefit of PVP vs PVE?
