Hi Jay, I'm here. And I'm at work. I wanted to call in sick today, but I dragged myself to work as usual. Good thing too I guess, because my boss called in sick.
Looking forward to finally meeting you this weekend. You're okay for the long solo drive, right?

It rained like crazy in the morning but about an hour before the parade started it stopped and stayed dry throughout it. Our Dachshund club had a small turnout (insert small wiener joke here) but we had fun. Some people really did take the occasion to go all out in flamboyant style and they were interesting to see. Heard a few funny wiener comments but everyone was cool. There was also one born again guy telling them to repent but everyone was ignoring him. I think a good time was had by most.
