Years and years ago I was taking my younger bro to his soccer game when through the corner of my eye I saw an airplane dive into the lake. True story.

I was a kid, riding shotgun with my dad in his old 70's Duster 6 banger, it was a moonless night and we were just getting up to speed on a ramp getting on the highway, when all of a sudden we hit this guy who decided to go for a walk on the highway and cross from the right to the left headed for the median. The guy rode on the hood as my dad tried to slow down so he didn't slide off and run over him. Dude was lit and walked away with minor bumps and bruises. Tried suing my old man...unbelievable when he was breaking the law for walk on the highway.

Not a camaro story but, it was freaky:

about 25 years ago I was in the Air Force and my job was to travel around and measure radiation fields from antennas. Went to Alaska to measure the fields around some big comm antennas out in a remote part of the base. The folks from the base told me to be careful because the moose were in the rut.

Sure enough, when we got to the site, two moose were doing it near one of the antennas. Got a photo of that.

Part of the required report format was a photo of the antenna. I put the moose photo in and it got published (I guess management couldn't tell what it was). I thought for sure the Colonel would bounce it back to me.

This was probably 30 years ago.

Driving north on Rt 112 from Patchogue to Port Jefferson on Long Island. Straight ahead hovering above the road was what was surely a UFO. Remember this was between the "Close Encounters" movie and "E.T.". it was astounding. We pulled off to the side of the road, probably afraid to keep driving and also to get a better look. At least 10 other cars pulled over at the same stretch of road. It appeared to be a spinning disk with multiple colors, pretty much just like your typical UFO.

After a few minutes we realized it was not moving. It was hovering over the same location. We decided to continue on, since it now seems far less threatening. When we got to Port Jeff we realized it was just an advertising balloon anchored with a cable by a restaurant. We had a real good laugh when we realized that.

Yea, it was a couple of nights ago.

there's one thing i remember seeing that i consider freaky. i had just finished a 16 hour shift at work, i had been awake for well over 24 hours and was sleepy as hell. driving down a stretch of road with no one anywhere around me around 2am. i caught a glimpse of something moving in my rear view mirror. i took another look and it looked like black hair blowing around in my back seat. i tried to ignore it but i kept seeing it. i looked in the seat and there was nothing. i looked in my mirror again and it looked like the girl from the ring was sitting in my back seat with her hair blowing around but still covering her face. i flipped my mirror up and drove home without taking my eyes off the road the rest of the way. i accredit the hallucination to lack of sleep but damn, i was freaked the **** out.

I have no idea it was upside down lol.
LOL it is. I guess it missed the unintended rollover recall.
