Pish. The few times he went out with his friends and ate bad, he was so miserable the next day. He gave up on that. He'll still have a big burger and stuff sometimes but not nearly the stuff he used to eat.

get a flyswatter or a belt and start slapping him with it. either he'll run from you or after you. either way... it gets him more exercise.

best shape of my life was when I was weight 250lbs and eating over 9000 calories a day. only slept about 4 hours too.

I believe it. My best shape was when I was doing double insanity daily and i weighted like 136 all muscle.
