Reason I posted this though is that I heard that the vette Z06 will out run the GTr in the high end and this video run proved it. So GT-R isn't really unbeatable after all. I also saw a Porche 997 current turbo do the same thing. In that test it was noted that the GT-R only shines in the lower end but in the high end it falls short.

Was this ever really unexpected? GT-R doesn't have tons of power, nor was it build for the standing mile. It was made to shred road courses. Vette has better power-to-weight ratio at the expense of traction in all weather and off the line. So yeah if you do standing mile races a lot when it's sunny out, the vette is better.
