Military tribute vehicle sets record for a Military Tribute vehicle at Barrett Jackson yesterday, $1 Million Dollars

This Mustang is a wrapped vehicle that toured the USA last year during the HighFive tour!

Makes me wonder what Veteran1 would have got at auction, giving it's documented history, but my goal was to allow the everyday enthusiast who goes to the shows, drag meets the chance to win it!

The real winners are our nations Wounded Warriors who are benefiting from auctions like this!

Kudos to Barrett Jackson and the HiveFive Tour for raising over $1 million for Wounded Warriors!

And for whoever intrested in Louisiana, there will be a open car show on April 21st at Lirette Ford in Morgan City, Louisiana.
All proceeds going to wounded warriors.

Too bad it didn't go to the real "Wounded Warriors" fund and instead one that isn't as benevolent or truthful:

If the BIDDER(s) assumed it was for the WWP they could protest their donation.

Just a little FYI: The Army Wounded Warrior Program http://wtc.army.mil/aw2/ was founded way before the WWP !

I would be more curious about the bidders and knowing who they represesnted..........Becaue up until this weekends Barrett Jackson, the Camaros tribtue cars raised some serious money for charity and could a BLUE OVAL secret agent be behind the $1 million total ?

Why should any of that matter if it was going for a good cause. I wonder just how much of these funds really do end up going to our fighting boys and girls.

The first guy donated the car back to be bid on again. That's why the end result was so high.

FYI: If you had to hire someone to wrap your Camaro and pay for custom graphic design like Veteran1's graphics; would easily cost you $6500

just because its expensive doesnt make it cool. These vinyl wraps sure are taking the art out of it IMO. Dont be afraid to commit to paint!

It wouldn't matter, but one of have to wonder why this charity who promoted on thier website for the last year, the tribute mustang would be auctioned off at Mecum January 29 2011 (http://www.highfivetour.com/index.php/site/news ) but recently got done at Barrett Jackson
