Evergreen is probably a good company to work for. They have a base just NW of Tucson in Marana AZ. I don't know anyone that works for them anymore. I knew a guy a few years ago who worked for them in maintenance. He quit because he maxed out his pay and wasn't moving up in the company.

Good luck and if you ever get hired and move out here, we have a great Camaro club to welcome you!

Evergreen isn't the best company in the world to work for. They will run you hard, and put you away wet.

That being said, I know a few guys that are doing some REALLY cool stuff for them.

One friend of mine works for dyncorp. He was an H-60 driver in the army. Now he's a contract pilot flying old Russian Mi-8's and Mi-17's. My flippin dream job!

Thanks Chase we appreciate that! My birds are reconaissance only unfortunately. But we do facilitate dropping bombs on mofos.

Russian knockoff of an actually bad ass 'merican plane. The B1 does one awesome "show of force" fly by. The bad guys usually decide they don't want to fight anymore.

Thanks, I work with Spec Op. birds so we target some of the worlds worst. Such as this SOB, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anwar_al-Awlaki

TU-160 Blackjack, Russia's attempt to build a better supersonic, low level bomber to counter the B-1. Almost 20 years behind the B-1 in terms of technology and since the Soviets tried to build it bigger than the B-1 it is not a very well performing A/C. The B-1 is more of a tactical level asset because it primarily carries precision guided munitions, while the TU-160 typically carrys strategic level missiles. There are currently around 30 flying, so they are a rare sight to see.

Well I guess I'll post in here.

I'm currently a Sophomore at Auburn University majoring in Professional Flight. I'm 3 lessons away from taking my end of course test for my private license. I think I have roughly 40 hours under my belt and about 80 or so landings.

We only fly C172R during private but occasionally we get to jump into a S model.

Next semester I start instrument and I get to fly 172s equipped with G1000's...really excited about that.

Awesome, we flew the 172S models at SDSU. You'll like the avionics package of the G1000. What are you going to do after school?

Well, I'm not sure. Just get a flying job of some sorts. I guess I can't be too picky once I'm done since I'll still need to build hours.

I'd really like to fly corporate...so I'm trying to network as much as possible.
