Its not the $200 its the 3 years of increased insurance premiums that will probably cost another $1,000. Atleast in my experience when points hit the liscense in NY.

If he gets the hit from points, depends on what number ticket this is in what timeframe as to if you get points or not, if driving school is a choice, you pay the school fee and dont take the points hit, or sometimes you get both and get screwed anyways. Here you can go to school the first couple times and not get points

unless its criminal 33or more over, exhibition of speed for burning out, draggin on a public street, etc. etc. long time ago, we wont go any further(had to explain on my LEO poly) end of story lmao

He actually said that if I pay before the court date, it does not get reported and I get no points.

Our justice system at work. Just proves traffic enforcement is not about public safety as much as it is dollars to the municipal/state governments.

Sounds more like a byproduct of a lead foot. I suffer from the same disease.

I drive my SS dailey, and my Corvette on long trips. My only speeding ticket in the last 25 years was while driving my shop truck, an 86 GMC 6 banger while pulling a Uhaul. I must have thought I was invisible...

Taking some liberties......I've saved the pic to file, then enlarged it and flipped it over so that I could see what the officer was penciling..............The officer is actually writing a "to do list" for his own Camaro...........Red Wheels, High Wing Spoiler, and definately replace the V6 first.... The final notation........... This things a beast!
