See alot of miserable people when driving the camaro..

i had a guy in a 90's suburban riding my a$$ to the point where if i break checked him he would have hit me. i changed lanes and asked him why he had to do that and the old prick and his wife just gave me an attitude and told me that i could go $%^& myself. so i explained to him that i was 19 and i have more class than the two of them and also thats probably why he never got anywhere in his life. he gave me a puzzled look & responds to me stuttering saying that he has a bently and drove away lmaooo my friend and i couldn't stop laughing for the next 3 traffic lights. i think its better to keep your cool and respond with an answer they wouldn't normally expect instead of cursing back and forth. i know for sure those two felt like idiots on the way home

Well, those SHO's are quick. I got my a$$ handed to me by one at the track. Don't underestimate them. NOT!! Good job keeping your cool. Never had anyone mess with me yet but I'm sure it's coming. I just hope I can keep it cool like you. I'm kind of one of those miserable people WITH a Camaro so I don't know. J.K.

I hear you man. I'm 19 too, driving a 2SS 45th LS3 and no one has yet to give me sh*t, but I know they've given me looks. I just wait for the opportunity for someone to tell me I don't deserve my car. I'll take that opportunity to inform them I'm extremely fortunate and I'm making payments with my dad by working summers 7AM-5PM 5 days a week to help pay for the car.

I guess the way I look at it, every car GM sells is a bit closer to getting out from under the boot of Obama. Plus, there are a few vehicles that GM makes that really must PISS Obama off. Those being the camaro, Vette and the full size Duramax trucks. I have two of the three in my garage!!!

Well, this is not like a big city environment. The town we stopped in was the town I was raised in. Population is probably 500 but only on thanksgiving. Everyone knows everyone for the most part, I did not know this guy but I knew at least 5 people just in the parking lot of this gas station, know the owner well and the people that work there, hell the house I grew up in is within yelling distance.

I certainly was not going to provoke him, just wanting to see how he would respond when someone called him on his actions in a calm way. Most times they try to act like they did nothing at all. I think this guy was just an idiot.

Now, had he gotten out of his car with his hands in his coat pockets(did not have a coat on) or hands behind his back, I would be taken off. I was in a position that I would only have had to hit the gas and been gone. I do not put myself in bad positions if I can help it. Had he pulled into a private drive or house, I would have never stopped but this is a VERY public place so I was not to worried.

Good for you. There are to many teenagers that have never been taught what its like to work for something they really want, that is very commendable that your working to pay your way already!! Seems like a couple years ago I was working to make payments on my 73 monte carlo. Not an amazing car but it was a nice car with a moderately built 400 CI small block. Best feeling I had in my life to that point when I paid it off. Again, good work my friend!!!
