That I am. Seems to be anywhere from 30% - 45% tax on big million dollar winnings.

It's up to 640 million now.

Oh, and Federal taxes on amounts that large is 35%. State might take something too, depending on the state.

Just like saying someone buying LT Headers is Idiotic..... or a CAI....

the way I always put it is this:

if you don't enter, you won't win.

if you DO enter.. you PROBABLY won't win.

I was reading in the news today that someone spent 2500 bucks on tickets.

Also, if you went and bought every possible combination, would would profit off the winnings. As long as no-one else won as well.
