camaro5, it appears i have a small dilemma!

just something for you guys to think about if you're bored on this extremely miserable rainy afternoon (over here at least).

so i'm selling my old beater-car, and this afternoon some guy checked it out and just called me again a few mins ago he would like to come pick it up today.

also this afternoon this cute girl stopped by (no pics) to check it out and liked the car as well. but she asked so many questions about what to do with the title etc, i doubt she could figure it all out. furthermore, the car sucks and i'd rather let the guy deal with the piece of crap. obv i don't know if she has a bf etc, my people's-skills say no because she came all by herself to check out the car.

now what's my play? "sry, sold the car to somebody else, but would you like to go out some time?" doesn't really sound good. "hey i sold the car to somebody else, but to be honest the car sucks anyway and i didn't want you to have trouble with it" sounds like i'm a cheating dbag after she read my CL ad which says "this is a great car!!!"

ideas?

btw: she can drive a stick shift

hmmm...i don't know...be honest with her...I think everyone knows that they make their cars sound better in ads, etc. just tell her it really wasn't a good car for her and see if you can make anything happen.

Pleasure can always come later. I hate when guys lack the confidence that they feel they need an excuse to ask a girl out, that is a little boys mistake.

Have some balls, say hey the car is sold but I am more than happy to help you find another one. Why don't I meet you at (fill in the name of your favorite romantic restaurant) and we can go over the classifieds together.

She is either into you or not, you are not going to trick her into going out with you!
