Greetings from Silicon Valley, CA

Hello!

I'd been watching and recently opted to register. My wife, children, and I are all pleased to be part of the Camaro community, having recently purchased a 2012 2SS "Bumblebee."

(As you might guess, the kids played a vocal role in our settling on this particular version, and our first Chevrolet purchase ever.)

The vehicle's been great fun thus far and the folks in the neighborhood have elevated us to quasi-celebrity status - or more correctly, the car (I'm just the driver). There have been several occasions when folks have asked us to stop briefly so their kids can see Bumblebee - how fun!

Thanks for all the great information I've seen thus far, and I look forward to interacting with with you folks!

Welcome to the Permagrin family. 58,000 miles & no major issues here. Road trip to Indy end of July, pack up the trunk & come play or hang out with the C5 crew....

USAR2LT, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Congratz on the ride! I have a yellow one as well....although it's more of the evil twin! We have a couple upcoming events in the bay area; you should check out the CA subforums!

I spend the majority of my time in san jose and my cars in campbell (Blu808) for the most part. You should try to make it out to the dinner in Fremont were planning right now. It'll be on March 2nd.
