It's all about class. Some people have it, some people don't.

It's not going to be the same reaction when you hand the keys to a corvette to a millionaire that just won the super bowl minutes ago, as it would giving it to a middle class worker who couldn't afford one otherwise.

In other words, I thought it was funny.

Ok than I digress. I must of missed it. Thanks, just rewatched and saw it. But he did say it after he had already walked away. I dunno....still don't think it was handled right but oh well.

If its any consolation, he'll probably never drive it anyhow...it'll get donated to a charity or whatever...its probably more of a nuisance to Manning than anything else.

To be fair, he did say "thank you"

After initially ignoring the whole thing, then trying to walk off the podium, and the presenter reminded him he hadn't accepted the keys...

exactly. If he really wanted one, he would have bought it long ago.

I say they surprise someone who just got back from serving in the military with it or something.

why is there even a post about this? eli is not a very flashy millionaire, so he probably doesn't give a shit about getting a new car after winning a superbowl, much less a car he could afford 1,000 of.

Eli: I will trade you even up...a BRAND NEW Carolla in Beige metalic WITH a Giants air freshener hanging off the mirror for that GS you do not want. Straight up - no haggle. I will even make it an "S" model.

I'd have accepted the keys, but if I were him I'd have a Lamborghini already... I'd probably still be happy with a ZL1 though... I also hate Toyota, not because they're foreign, but because their cars are all boring. If I were to be sponsored by any of the non luxury Japanese brands I'd at least go with Nissan, or maybe even Subaru... Toyota sucks.

If I were the Super Bowl MVP, I would have been offended by being offered anything short of a zr1.

He said, "Thank you, thank you," in a very rushed and oh I forgot kind of way. No biggie for me, didn't expect him to be gracious.

You see how busy that posium was? We was leaving to make room for the next person to come up. Do you think they acutally gave him the keys, right there? Come on! Someone would have to drive it on and off the field, he probably did expect to be handed the keys just awarded the car. And he did say Thank you twice after the announcer called him back up! Don't be butthurt because you are a Patriots fan or something....
