Its not going to matter any the Camaro will still outsell the Mustang all year long again first month is down already all we have are 11 more to go. We dont need 650hp to outsell the Mustang with the ZL1 if they did they would have just put the LS9 and added more power in it.
You sure your not a Mustang guy at heart? Years ago, when the Camaro was outperforming the Mustang, the Ford guys constantly resorted to the lame "yeah, but the Mustang outsells the Camaro/Firebird" diatribe. The fact is, while the Mustang may not sell month-to-month as the new Camaro, it's not like they are hurting in sales. It's a business built on multiple models, not just one.

The way Ford kicked Chevy in the nuts by announcing the 2013 GT500 650 hp/200+ mph the same day ZL1 details came out tells you Ford is aiming right at ZL1. I say they add $5k max to the prize of the GT500 with the SVT package to put it at $58,600 compared to the ZL1 $57,195.
I heard it was going to be $100,000,000.00

^^^^^ Looks to me like it has a strong chance of being since the lesser Boss 302 Laguna is in the $50,000 range. Why would someone buy a Boss 302 over a Shelby GT500 then????
You're hopeless. Congrats, you're the first person I'm ignoring on this site.

Believe me nothing about the Mustang really does much for me. My sister owned a 98 Mustang that I drove many times the car never did anything for me from the styling and ESPECIALLY not the handling the car had that was one of the worst handling cars I have ever driven im not sure if hers had been wrecked before or what but I dont believe it had that cause it to have that much body roll from a simple turn. And the styling never has done much for me either they just havent changed much from 98-2013 model year same car barely updated exterior with a horse on the front. Thats one thing I like about the Camaro at least the exterior is refreshed more often. Maybe the 2014 Mustang will have a whole new exterior I hope so for their sake from a sales perspective.

............................Mustang............... .Camaro

Premium V6..........$26,995...............$28,430
Base V6 vert.........$27,995...............$30,180
Premium V6 vert....$31,995..............$34,180
Base V8.................$31,095..............$31,930
Premium V8...........$35,095..............$35,530
Base V8 vert.........$36,095..............$37,980
Premium V8 vert...$40,095..............$40,680

I always LOL when people ring up sales figures. Back in the LS1 days we were king of the hill laying the smack down on all the Mustangs. All they could do was spout off sales figures and we would just LOL at them. Now the tales have turned. The Mustangs out perform the Camaros and Camaro guys are the ones spouting off sales figures.

It's quite embarrassing actually, I would rather have a better performing car than one you see at every stop light.

The irony of you saying "get your facts straight" is unescapable.....

I've also never seen you mention any of these other cars either so how would I be expected to know that?
