yea I heard they said 0-60 in "no more than 3.7".

I am sure the gearing helps a lot as the 13 GT500 can run 62mph in 1st gear.

Well, thats what youll need to do. I love the LSA, but its limits are far below the gt500 motor. Youll need rods, pistons, etc. in the end the blower is the limit for a gt500, not the long block.

Too bad even a motor like that cant compete with a turbo 400 inch LS. 14-71 blowers are ok for alcohol, but really cant run with modern turbos or blowers can they.

No offense, but your dad sounds a little immature. I mean, I can understand having a preference for one brand versus another, but what your dad did (if he really did what you described) is a tad bit silly.

Where have you been? This guy has been living vicariously through his dad since he started posting on here.

Well that is a recent picture but the car is a 63 and was retired in 95 so comparing it to anything would be a tad bit unfair don't ya think?

If working from age 13 till 53 from 6am to 6pm and working his hands to the point the point that his fingerprints are barely there anymore and putting my mother first before ANYTHING else for 32 years now is immature then yeah I guess he is. You don't know anything about the engine he had or how much it could have been pushed he raced to win not to say oh well that guys started with a bigeer engine so I lose. And living vicariously throught my dad? How so? I may have mentioned him a time or two but hardly at all I have a close relationship with my dad sorry if that's weird to you id say you must not be that close with urs if you have that big of a problem with it but I suspect that in reality you're just another one of those people who wake up craving drama and trash talk.

Your dad sounds a lot like mine, so it's no wonder you have so much respect for him. And no, I don't know anything about your dad's engine, nor would it matter if I did. My comment was directed at your statement that your dad replaced the engine in his Corvette because he lost to a Mustang. Now you seem to be backtracking to say maybe he did it simply because it needed to be replaced because he pushed it so hard drag racing. You keep bringing your dad into these conversations, not us.

Op you need to change the title of this thread. It is very misleading and incorrect.
