man some rich people just live in a different world... I know if I were rich I'd probably have about 10 cars. But still, 15 of the same car? Hoping to turn a profit? That's sort of crazy. He also didn't wait that long to start selling them... I hope the next owners at least drive the cars... It's stupid to buy something and not use it unless you're a museum.

I will never understand why they stopped making that car. (Ford GT)
They also stopped making the Ford Thunderbird convertible. (very cool car as well. It had IRS, double wishbone front suspension). Why does Ford have to be SO conservative. Yes the FORD GT had mechanical and electrical problems but they could have just fixed it. People were spending 500k for a Ford GT. I guess they think cool cars are "evil". I have been told there were government regulations being enacted in 07' that would have made the car non compliant. Ford felt they had a two year window to produce the car, hence the shortened development process. That and the urge to have them ready for the 100th anniversary in 03'.
