Great forum..

I have been lurking here for the past month debating if I should pick up a new ss, With all the reports out now, the buisness sense in me tells me it would be insane to buy a car from a company on the verge of going under..

I'm going to go with the wrx sti. thanks for all the info..

If you do, make sure you don't get one of the the newer ones, those are fugly. And so what that they might go bankrupt, what's that going to hurt you?

you need to read more.

If GM goes down, you are still covered under warranty. Nothing will happen to the cars.

300 dealers out of 3400...

and Im not sure its AS public but Fuji Heavy Industries isnt doing too hot either... I believe they are in talks to be bought by Toyota.... god for freakin bide :( god that would suck.

Chevy will always be around. If you think about it... GM is going back to what GM originall was. Chevy, Buick, Cadillac... the original brands....

Hey now, thats not nice :( I love my Suby, she's beautiful... she just isnt as powerful as she could be... Dude if you're going the Subaru route... get a 2009 WRX, not the STi. the WRX is .2 quicker to 60 better skid pad rating and better overall performance.

if they go under it wouldn't be for very long, which is why they plan it out, they would be back up within a week (seems like that was the span it was given)

You know what? Go have fun with your subaru. They ARE owned by toyota...who, last time I heard, is also dangerously low in cash and had to apply to their government for loans.

To everyone else, thank you for your loyalty and support. You really don't know how much it means to GM families everywhere.

Appearently he didn't read all the information on here... like Milk said, if GM goes down then warrantee is still covered, also if they go bankrupt a lot of people think they will go out of business, that is not true, it just means they will be restructuring...

btw, have fun with your flat 4 engine :troll:
