Eh, I run my full synth regularly 1K over the 3K limit. She just dogs down a little on the older oil but I never see metal. Don't mind pulling it apart sometime and cleaning everything since it was in the cards to begin with. Hopefully more shit doesn't hit the fan.. life seems to have had explosive bowel movements in your direction lately.

I've been talking to a guy I know about that amsoil stuff..... he says you can go 25K on an oil change! I'm kinda thinking about bringing some cheap old Penzoil crap down there to dump in it after I put the new seal in, run a couple cans of seafoam through it and blow it out on the trip home, then put the good stuff in once I get home
