They've already confirmed the production C7 will be Front-engined....but this is really cool! I wonder if this is the car they're going to be using the TwinTurbo V6 they developed in?

Very cool but don't hold your breath. Going mid engine would increase the price tag dramatically.

The funny thing is, the Corvette is mid-engined already. As long as the engine is between the front & rear axles, the car is mid-engined. Nothing says it has to be behind the driver.

And rumour has it that members of the Corvette team didn't want that racecar to bear the Corvette name.
