and for someone who can't leave anything "stock"... droid works perfectly for me.

honestly, I could go without a smart phone... did so for over a decade, went without a cell phone for a decade before that.

I had a Droid X and it froze and shut off and ran slow all the time. It was so annoying.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S and it did that too... started about 4 months after I bought it. The droids can't run a lot of apps at the same time.
