1000 people in line to enter Apple store in Grand Central station

I need to find out if I can buy stock in Apple. I realize people are addicted to tech. I'm sure their products are great.

When a cellphone can do absolutely anything a desktop computer can, then I will get interested. And that time will come eventually.

some people have nothing better to do with their lives than stand in line for a tech gadget behind 999 other people to buy a "popular right now" item when they can likely order it from Apple or ATT online, wait a week or so and enjoy the hours they didn't spend in line doing something else like trimming dingleberry catchers.

Just wait on that stock unless your a short term trader.

with in 5 years when the pre planned direction Jobbs put in place runs out, Apple will go the way it went when they fired him.

That's outrageous. I bought my iphone months after it was out to be safe in case there were any early bugs. I love the idiots who buy a product like a new cell phone or computer right as it's released and then it craps out on them cause of poor durability or what not. That's what you get for jumping on the bandwagon as soon as you can.

I feel the same way about standing in any stupid line. Like black friday for example. Screw that, I'll sit at home and scrounge over ebay deals before I stand outside a mall or store and freeze my ass off.

Don't get me wrong, Apple makes some really nice stuff but standing in line for hours (days?) to be the first to get it is silly. I'll gladly wait a week and then spend about 10 minutes picking up my purchase. Thank you very much.
Apparently some folks need a life, or an identity, of their own. This level of Fanboyism is borderline pathetic. (IMHO)
